Ed, a State Senator, has died in a gun battle defending his home from supposed intruders...or so everyone thinks.  However, as everyone gathers for Ed's funeral, the real truth comes out.  On top of that, Edna, his ex-wife;  Buttons, his fiance and semi-exotic dancer; and Harry, his wacky brother, are all vying for his now vacant Senate seat.  Combine that with a game of musical caskets, crazy characters and a big squirrel named Mel, and the only thing you can count on is laughing until your sides hurt!

Anna and Claire are two bantering, scheming "women of fashion" who have long lived together on the fringes of upper-class society along with Anna's Scottish maid, Catherine.  Anna has just become the mistress of a wealthy man.  However, as the women exchange barbs, an unexpected visitor and a gift of an Emerald necklace set off a crisis that puts both the women's futures at risk.  The play is delivered through quick, witty Victorian-era dialogue and a mix of double entendres.
