This classic tale takes on a whole new twist as one Christmas in 1843 Dickens is asked to tell a story by his family and friends. He refuses to work on Christmas Eve unless they take part as well. A Christmas Carol is born as Dickens, his muse, and his family and friends take part in creating the familiar characters that have become a beloved holiday tradition for generations.

Terry Adams is a name shared by a rare books librarian and a forgettable radiologist. One has booked the last room at the Drake Hotel in Chicago during a blizzard in the hopes of getting engaged. The other has reluctantly just gotten engaged and inadvertently celebrates a bit too much in the Drake’s bar. Mistaken identities, out and out deception, delayed planes, missed phone calls and too many well-intentioned friends popping by are all part of this romantic comedy.

Always out to save the day or the damsel in distress, Robin Hood must keep the lovely Maid Marian from being married off to the despicable Sheriff Nottingham, even if it means he must learn to – bowl? Not your typical rob from the rich and give to the poor tale, this fantastical, tongue-in-cheek story has Robin leading his band of spoon-wielding, intellectually challenged Merry Men through forest, field and farce. Somewhat true? Maybe. Hysterically funny? Definitely.
